We're off to see the seaside!

The sun was shining, the sand was warm, and the sea was cold! Nevertheless EuroClass was joined by all the students at Silkeborg Højskole for an outing to the West coast of Jutland.

Here you can see Kika working hard to make a sand pyrimid with her team in the massive "Sandcastle building competiton"! The teams were the højskoles' working groups.

Two teams made models of the school (but they were playing up to the fact that Carsten was judging!), Kika's team made a large model of the pyrimids and sphinx, and another team made a capatalism monument!

Entries also included a couple of traditional princess' castle, and the winning entry, which was a mermaid (called Helga) who had a real fish for a mouth!

Beach competitions also included a tug-of-war, where two teams pull a rope in opposite directions to see who is the strongest!

A packed lunch was enjoyed, before a long walk on the beach past some World War 2 bunkers and a very romantic lighthouse! The fresh sea air made the bus journey home a very relaxed and sleepy one!

Kika (Slovakia) makes her masterpiece in the "sandcastle building" competition. EC 05/06
