On Friday evening we arrived to Antwerp.

Our hostel was a little bit out from the city center. When we finally found it we understood that we have to go over the bridge to get there, but the bridge was closed. So our captain Morten found another way for our big blue bus and that was the biking roadJ

After we finished dinner two girls from U-land had prepared some games for a social evening which was really funny e.g. change your close cloth with a team made when each of you are in a sleeping bag....and that on time!!!Between the games we also sang some songs together.(No travel without the songbook in the bagpack) Later some of us went out to find a bar for hygge.

Next morning came Jan (a member of the belgian youth organisation Chiro) to pick us up for a little tour around the city. It was very nice and sunny weather. Our excursion started from the other side of the river. We had a nice view from there. Our guide told us some history and then we went trough a long tunnel under the water to the center. We saw lots of nice buildings including the cathedral and a castle. Also a nice park, the shopping street, the diamond shops area, the old town, the central station and the main square. We were walking a lot, but it was very nice. Around 2 pm we got some time for shopping. In the evening almost all went out to the same bar that Euroclass students visited the night before.

On Sunday we packed our things again and went to a catholic service that was accompanied by a choir in a chruch with paintings from Rubens.
